Hands-on workshops such as soba (buckwheat noodles) making take place on the second floor.
In the spacious dining area, walls are stately lacquered.
The Centre offers healthy menus.
Shukunegi Taiken Gakushukan (Hands-on Learning Centre) is located right at the entrance to the Shukunegi village. The Centre provides the nostalgic, hands-on experience of making soba (buckwheat noodles), and doing a bamboo craft (bamboo-copter). If you're hungry, dishes made from local ingredients are served at the old-house style eatery equipped with an understairs cupboard. An ample selection of hand-made souvenirs are also available.
