Seikuro's Residence used to be the house of a shipping agent, who made his fortune from the late 19th century to the 20th century. The house was later sold to the Seikuro Family. The building is considered to have been built in the middle of the 19th century. This building boasts the highest levels of materials and construction skills of the times, such as lacquered doors made from Japanese zelkova and cedar.
